Surging in popularity around the country, poker is a game anyone can play. Why not host your own private poker tournament just for your own staff, clients or friends. We can come to you company boardroom, function room, the local pub or can arrange a venue for you.

Your level of poker experience is irrelevant, as we tailor each event to suit the individuals participating, from those who know nothing, right through to card sharks. In fact, poker is a great leveler, and after a few short lessons the amateurs will give the professionals a run for their money. A poker tournament is not just a fun event, it can also be a great team building exercise, networking opportunity or a chance to interact with clients, staff or friends in an informal setting. It can also be run in conjunction with another event such as dinner, drinks or a corporate retreat.

The Event

Your poker tournament is run on high quality, professional poker tables to make you feel like a poker pro!

Your Australian Legends of Poker Tournament Director will introduce the game and run through the rules and poker etiquette. You will also be provided with cheat sheets outlining the rank of hands as well as which hands to play. Before you play for real you will be led through some practice rounds just to make sure everyone is up to speed.

Then its time to shuffle up and deal!!

About the night

Your Tournament Director(s) will then oversee the running of the tournament and be available to walk between the tables and assist anyone who needs help. As players are knocked out, we remove tables until one final table remains. Your Tournament Director will act as the dealer on the final table until the ultimate winner is found!

Australian Legends of Poker will present the winner with a winner's trophy!

Times

This experience is available every night of the week (except Tuesday nights).
We can also run your tournament during the day or evening on weekends.
As a guide the tournament can run from 1-4 hours depending upon the number of players.

The Hosts

Australian Legends of Poker is run by people who love poker but also love to create a fun, friendly atmosphere. We will manage the whole event so you can relax and participate along with your guests. We take care of everything, from setting up to running the tournament to dealing at the Final Table.

We can also run lessons for an hour before your tournament starts for new players and beginners who would like to learn how to play.
